Jacqueline, or Jax Steager is a theatrical, concert and event designer based in San Francisco.
Jax earned her BA in Drama from Loyola University New Orleans, with a minor in English literature, and her MFA in Theatre Arts Design & Technical Production from San Francisco State University. She has designed shows that were nominated for Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle awards, Big Easy awards, and Storer Boone awards.
She is a company member of Impact Theatre and the Renegade Theatre Experiment, as well as co–founder and technical director of Gryphon Venues, an Edinburgh Festival Fringe venue company.
